Trunk or treat family night details

The James R Watson PTO invites you to join us for an evening full of fun, costumes, and community connection! Our Trunk or Treat Family Night takes place on Thursday, October 29th from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the school during the Fall School Book Fair Week. Enjoy decorated vehicle trunks, activities throughout the school, and be sure to stop by the Book Fair going on all week, open in the evening on the 29th, with delicious pizza available by the slice. Trunk space is limited, so let us know if you'd like to host a trunk this year!

When and where does the event take place?

The event is held at James R Watson Elementary from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Activities take place both in the parking lot and throughout the school building.

Is there an admission fee to attend?

No, admission is completely free for all JRW students and their families! You can come and enjoy trick-or-treating and school activities at no cost.

Should students wear costumes?

Yes! Students and family members are warmly encouraged to come dressed in their favorite school-appropriate costumes to trick-or-treat among the decorated trunks.

Will food or dinner be available?

Yes, pizza will be available for purchase by the slice during the event so your family can easily grab dinner together.

How can we sign up to host a trunk?

We are always in need of enthusiastic families and community members to host and decorate trunks. Use the link below to sign up to host a trunk.

Will the Book Fair be open during the event?

Yes, the Book Fair will be open for special evening hours in the Eagles Nest during the event. It is a fantastic opportunity to browse and purchase books with your student.

What other volunteer opportunities are available?

Beyond hosting a trunk, we need helpers for setup, hall monitoring, pizza sales, and event cleanup. Every bit of help ensures a smooth and safe evening for everyone.
